Round in EBA means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in La Linea where host ULB OH!TELS (7-1) crushed league's leader DKV San Fernando (6-2) 79-58 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of DKV San Fernando. It was a key game for the top position in Group D-B. ULB OH!TELS made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded DKV San Fernando 46-35 including a 36-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Candido Matoso (207-92) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 20 rebounds. Forward David Espadina (201-93) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Eugenio Martinez (182-1) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and Manuel Ezomo added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ULB OH!TELS have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of Group D-B leader. DKV San Fernando at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Lliria. DKV San Fernando will play next round against Matenglish trying to make it back to the top of the standings. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will travel locally in San Fernando to the arena of Matenglish. ULB OH!TELS will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Adepla in Plasencia.
