Regular Season Round 6: Dnipro - Kyiv Basket 75-78

The most exciting game of round 6 in the Superleague took place in Dnipro. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-best Dnipro (7-2) to fifth ranked Kyiv Basket (5-3) 78-75 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Dnipro. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 37-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. International guard Issuf Sanon (192-99) replied with 16 points and 9 rebounds and the former international power forward Maxym Korniyenko (206-87) added 13 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Dnipro. Kyiv Basket moved-up to fourth place. Dnipro at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Kyiv Basket are looking forward to face Odessa (#6) at home in the next round. Dnipro will play against the league's leader Prometey (#1) in Kamianske and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
