Regular Season Round 9: MBK Ruzomb. - Samorin 87-47

Extraliga top team - MBK Ruzomberok (11-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Samorin (2-9) 87-47. MBK Ruzomberok made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game, while Samorin only scored five points from the stripe. MBK Ruzomberok forced 23 Samorin turnovers. Samorin was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. International forward Miroslava Mistinova (182-97) stepped up and scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and the former international Nikola Dudasova (175-95) chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. Four MBK Ruzomberok players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was international center Sona Svetlikova (184-99) with 12 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Timea Sujova (173-84) scored 10 points and 5 assists. MBK Ruzomberok will play against league's second-placed Piestanske C. in Piestany in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Samorin will play at home against Banska Bystrica (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
