Regular Season Round 19: Tokyo CR - Iwate Big Bulls 67-83

B3 League top team - Iwate Big Bulls (16-4) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they beat tenth ranked Tokyo CR (5-16) 83-67. Iwate Big Bulls dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo CR's 34. It was a great evening for Canadian forward Erik Nissen (206-95, college: Acadia) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. American Justin Herold (203-91, college: Sonoma St.) helped adding 20 points and 8 rebounds. Four Iwate Big Bulls players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Chris Olivier (203-92, college: Oklahoma St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Iwate Big Bulls have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 16-4 record. Tokyo CR lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
