Regular Season Round 7: Prometey - K.Sokoly 114-77

Superleague top team - Prometey (9-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked K.Sokoly (1-11) in Kamianske 114-77. The game without a history. Prometey led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Prometey shot 29 for 41 from the free-throw line, while K.Sokoly only scored thirteen points from the stripe. Prometey forced 20 K.Sokoly turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by K.Sokoly helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Randy Culpepper (183-89, college: UTEP, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 4 assists. Forward Mike Myers (206-92, college: UMES, agency: Network Sports International) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five Prometey players scored in double figures. Guard Kareem Jamar (194-92, college: Montana) answered with 15 points and guard Zach Jackson (196-97, college: Omaha) added 8 points and 4 assists in the effort for K.Sokoly. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Prometey have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Prometey maintains first place with 9-2 record, which they share with Dnipro. K.Sokoly at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Prometey's next round opponent will be Odessa (#6) on the road which should be theoretically another easy game. K.Sokoly will play against Mykolaiv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
