Regular Season Round 10: Eleftheroupoli - Karditsas 87-63

We should mention about the upset which took place in Kavalas, where higher ranked Karditsas (5-5) was outleveled in a road game by twelfth ranked Eleftheroupoli (4-6) 87-63. Serbian guard Nemanja Manojlovic (197-93, agency: Mansfield and Associates) notched 15 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Diogenis Gorgonis (192-98) supported him with 12 points and 4 assists. Four Eleftheroupoli players scored in double figures. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Dimitris Gravas (203-93) did not help to save the game for Karditsas. Point guard Athanasios Chondrogiannis (193-97) added 7 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Eleftheroupoli moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Koroivos. Karditsas at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Eleftheroupoli's next round opponent will be Anatolia (#12) in Thessaloniki.
