The game with biggest result difference took place in Klaipeda. Local Neptunas (8-5) beat 10th ranked Nevezis (3-10) 88-78 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Neptunas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was Osvaldas Olisevicius (200-93) who scored 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international forward Deividas Gailius (200-88, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 22 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Neptunas players scored in double figures. Guard Kristupas Zemaitis (192-96) produced 7 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Julius Kazakauskas (196-90) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Neptunas moved-up to second place, which they share with Rytas. Nevezis lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Neptunas will face Juventus (#5) in Utena in the next round. Nevezis will play at home against Prienai CBet (#6) and hope to win that game.
