Regular Season Round 9: Wolverines - Shockers 52-67

The most shocking disappointment of round 9 in the NPBA was a home defeat of 3rd placed Wolverines (3-4) by fourth ranked Shockers (4-3) who outscored them by 15 points 67-52 in the game for the third place. It ended the two-game winning streak of Wolverines. William Rigby stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and Tamiko King chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Rashad Saunders with 12 points and 8 rebounds and forward Rashad Morley (198, college: Brock) scored 8 points and 12 rebounds. Shockers moved-up to third place which they share with defeated Wolverines. Newly promoted Wolverines keep the third position with four games lost. They share it with Regulators. Shockers' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Nassau Uptown Cuts.
