The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Fukuoka R.'s (7-16) home loss to fifth ranked Bambitious N. (10-13) 73-78 on Saturday. Bambitious N. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Spanish center David Doblas (209-81) responded with 23 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Kevinn Pinkney (207-83, college: Nevada, agency: SDJ Sports) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Bambitious N.. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Ibaraki R. and Kumamoto V. Loser Fukuoka R. dropped to the fifth position with 16 games lost. Bambitious N. will face Orange Vikings (#3) in Matsuyama in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Fukuoka R. will play at home against the league's leader Dragonflies and hope to win that game.
