This time Kibirkstis used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Astana 59-51 on Sunday night. Lithuanian center Daugile Sarauskaite (196-96) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the effort and Lithuanian center Livija Sakeviciute (188-99) supported her with 5 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 12 points and 5 rebounds by guard Tamara Yagodkina (181-90) did not help to save the game for Astana Tigers. Center Anna Vinokurova (192-92) added 9 points and 6 rebounds. Kibirkstis (2-3) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Gorizont. Defending Kazakhstan champion Astana Tigers dropped to the twelfth position with four games lost. They share it with Dynamo M. and Liepaja/LSSS.
