Regular Season Round 18: Kawasaki BT - Ryukyu GK 98-75

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kanagawa. First ranked Toshiba Thunders faced second-best Ryukyu GK. Host Toshiba Thunders (15-3) smashed guests from Okinawa (10-7) 98-75. Toshiba Thunders shot 60.9 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Toshiba Thunders players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Ryukyu GK's players. They maintain first position with 15-3 record. Ryukyu GK at the other side keeps the second place with seven games lost. Toshiba Thunders' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Yokohama BC at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ryukyu GK will play against Kyoto H. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
