Important game to mention about took place in Houston. Fourth ranked Kings (10-13) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging second-best Rockets (15-8) 119-118 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rockets. Kings made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Rockets turnovers. Strangely Rockets outrebounded Kings 51-37 including a 40-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for Bahamas guard Buddy Hield (193-93, college: Oklahoma) who saved his team from a defeat with 26 points. Forward Harrison Barnes (203-92, college: UNC) contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Russell Westbrook (190-88, college: UCLA) replied with 34 points (!!!) and 8 assists (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) and James Harden (196-89, college: ASU) added 27 points and 10 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) in the effort for Rockets. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Kings maintains fourth position with 10-13 record, which they share with Minnesota T. Rockets at the other side keep the second place with eight games lost.
