Regular Season Round 19: Shiga L-Stars - Osaka E. 67-57

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Osaka E. (12-6) on the court of fifth ranked Shiga L-Stars on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Shiga L-Stars 67-57. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Osaka E.. Shiga L-Stars looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St., agency: SDJ Sports) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import swingman Henry Walker (198-87, college: Kansas St.) contributed with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 17 rebounds and international forward Ira Brown (193-82, college: Gonzaga) added 9 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Osaka E.Shiga L-Stars have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Kyoto H. Osaka E. at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost. Shiga L-Stars is looking forward to face higher ranked Hitachi Sunrockers (#3) in Tokyo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Osaka E. will play at home against Chiba J. and is hoping to win this game.
