No shocking result in a game when second ranked Rockets (16-8) beat 5th ranked Cavaliers (5-19) in Cleveland 116-110 on Wednesday. James Harden (196-89, college: ASU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 55 points (!!!) and 8 assists. Point guard Russell Westbrook (190-88, college: UCLA) contributed with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Kevin Love (208-88, college: UCLA) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Kevin Porter-Jr (196-0, college: USC) added 24 points in the effort for Cavaliers. Five Cavaliers players scored in double figures. Cavaliers' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Rockets maintains second position with 16-8 record having just one point less than leader Philadelphia 76, which they share with Toronto R. Cavaliers lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 19 games lost. Rockets will have a break next day. Cavaliers will play on the road against Spurs (#3) in San Antonio and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
