It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Yokohama BC. Toshiba Thunders players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. International power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Uruguayan power forward Mathias Calfani (204-92, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 19 points and 4 steals. Five Toshiba Thunders players scored in double figures. American forward James Southerland (203-90, college: Syracuse) produced 11 points and 6 rebounds and Turkish center Reginald Becton (206-91) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Toshiba Thunders have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 16-3 record. Yokohama BC at the other side keeps the second position with 11 games lost. Toshiba Thunders will have a break next round. Yokohama BC will play at home against the league's second-placed Toyota Alvark and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
