No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Polonia Bytom (3-9) smashed at home bottom-ranked Unia Tarnow (0-12) 81-54 on Friday. Polonia Bytom dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Unia Tarnow's 18. They outrebounded Unia Tarnow 57-25 including a 25-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Karol Jagoda (196-1) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 21 rebounds for the winners. Unia Tarnow's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Polonia Bytom moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Unia Tarnow lost their twelfth game in a row. They still close the standings with 12 games lost. Polonia Bytom will face higher ranked UR Krakow (#7) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
