Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Castello and 11th ranked Magia Huesca had identical 5-7 record. But Magia Huesca was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Castellon 90-76 on Friday night. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-76. American guard Henri Wade-Chatman (188-92, college: Edinboro) stepped up and scored 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and Serbian Brano Djukanovic (194-95) chipped in 17 points. At the losing side American guard Olin Carter-III (190, college: San Diego) responded with 26 points and Serbian power forward Vasilije Vucetic (209-96) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Castello (6-7) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Granada and Alicante. Loser Magia Huesca dropped to the thirteenth position with eight games lost. Castello will face bottom-ranked Marin (#18) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Magia Huesca will play against Oviedo CB (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
