Regular Season Round 16: Caen - Bordeaux 75-73

Ninth-ranked JSA Bordeaux (6-11) was very close to win a game against sixth ranked Caen (11-6) on Friday. Caen managed to secure only two-point victory 75-73. However their fans expected easier game. It was a very good performance for swingman Florian Thibedore (194-90) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Aurelien Rigaux (178-88) contributed with 11 points and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Anthony Prugnieres (201-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Nathan Adrian (206-95, college: WVU, agency: Inception Sports) added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for JSA Bordeaux. Four JSA Bordeaux players scored in double figures. Caen moved-up to fifth place in Group A. Loser JSA Bordeaux keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. Caen will face Toulouse (#10) at home in the next round where they are favorite. JSA Bordeaux will play against Tours and hope to win that game.
