Regular Season Round 25: Shinshu BW - Fukuoka R. 89-63

There was no surprise when 6th ranked Fukuoka R. (7-18) was outleveled by first ranked Shinshu BW (18-5) in Nagano 89-63 on Saturday. Shinshu BW looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Quite impressive performance for American center Wayne Marshall (211-86, college: Temple) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Shinshu BW players scored in double figures. American power forward Kevinn Pinkney (207-83, college: Nevada, agency: SDJ Sports) answered with 7 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Satoshi Ishitani (177-85) added 11 points in the effort for Fukuoka R.The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shinshu BW maintains first place with 18-5 record. Fukuoka R. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 18 games lost. Shinshu BW will face again Fukuoka R. (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
