Regular Season Round 13: L'Alfas - Alginet 96-98

Eighth-ranked L'Alfas (3-10) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Alginet (11-1) in Alfas Del Pi. The visitors from Alginet managed to secure only two-point victory 98-96. However their fans expected much easier game. Alginet dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to L'Alfas' 38. Guard Adrian Galvez (187-87) stepped up and scored 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Javier Dalmau chipped in 18 points. At the losing side forward Damian Jimenez (198-86) responded with 31 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Pau Truno (176-98) scored 18 points and 8 assists. Five Alginet and four L'Alfas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Alginet maintains first place in Group E-B with 11-1 record. L'Alfas at the other side keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Alginet will play against Jairis (#4) at home in the next round. L'Alfas will play against Aldaia (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
