NM1 top team - Etoile Angers (15-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Lorient (5-12) 82-61. Worth to mention a quality performance of American center Kyle Tresnak (209-92, college: Weber St.) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Stephan Gauthier (192-95) who added 17 points during the contest. Four Etoile Angers players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian power forward Luka Nikolic (209-94) responded with 15 points and 4 assists and naturalized Mali point guard Ibrahim Saounera (179-87) scored 11 points and 4 assists. Lorient's coach Philippe Maucourant gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Etoile Angers maintains first position in Group A with 15-2 record. Lorient lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Stade Rochelais and Lourdes.
