The most crucial game of the last day was a loss of top-ranked 76ers (20-8) in Brooklyn on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by fourth ranked Nets (14-12) 109-89. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of 76ers. They outrebounded 76ers 51-38 including 39 on the defensive glass. Nets looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Spencer Dinwiddie (198-93, college: Colorado) scored 24 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center DeAndre Jordan (211-88, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Australian point guard Ben Simmons (208-96, college: LSU) with 20 points and 5 rebounds and Tobias Harris (206-92, college: Tennessee) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nets maintains fourth position with 14-12 record. 76ers at the other side still keep top place with eight games lost. They share the position with LA Clippers.
