Very expected game when 8th ranked Politekhn.Lvov (2-11) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Rivne (11-2) 87-66. The game without a history. Rivne led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Politekhn.Lvov's 38. They outrebounded Politekhn.Lvov 40-26 including 25 on the defensive glass. Rivne players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Yevgen Koroviyakov (199-88) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Forward Oleksandr Shepelev (201-94) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
