No shocking result in a game when third ranked Toyama G. (8-15) crushed at home 5th ranked Akita Happinets (12-10) 78-57 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Toyama G. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. American forward Leo Lyons (206-87, college: Missouri) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import Josh Peppers (201-85, college: UCF) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American-Panamanian center Javier Carter (203-91, college: S.Alabama) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and Bahamas power forward Kadeem Coleby (206-89, college: Wichita St., agency: HMS) added 12 points in the effort for Akita Happinets. Akita Happinets' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Toyama G. moved-up to second place, which they share with Kyoto H. Loser Akita Happinets keep the fifth position with ten games lost. Toyama G. will face league's leader Toshiba Thunders in Kanagawa in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Akita Happinets will play on the road against the league's second-placed Toyota Alvark (#2) in Tokyo and hope to win that game.
