Regular Season Round 12: Rouen - Saint-Chamond 80-62

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Saint Chamond (8-4) against ninth ranked SPO Rouen (7-5) on Monday night. Visiting Saint Chamond was defeated by SPO Rouen in Rouen 80-62. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Saint Chamond. SPO Rouen players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for Croatian swingman Domagoj Bosnjak (201-95, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Armenian-American guard Andre Spight (191-95, college: N.Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 12 points and 7 assists for the winners. Four SPO Rouen players scored in double figures. Cuban power forward Grismay Paumier (205-88) replied with 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and point guard Matteo Legat (192-96) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Saint Chamond. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SPO Rouen moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Saint Chamond at the other side dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. SPO Rouen will play against Paris (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Saint Chamond will play against Aix-Maurienne (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
