Regular Season Round 63: Toronto R. - Boston C. 102-118

An exciting game was played in Toronto. Third ranked Celtics faced second-best Raptors. Guests from Boston (21-7) defeated host Raptors (21-10) 118-102. They outrebounded Raptors 45-34 including 32 on the defensive glass. Celtics players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Jaylen Brown (201-96, college: California) who led the winners and scored 30 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Point guard Kemba Walker (185-90, college: UConn) accounted for 22 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Point guard Fred VanVleet (183-94, college: Wichita St.) came up with 27 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and Canadian-Saint Lucian power forward Chris Boucher (208-93, college: Oregon) added 24 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Raptors in the defeat. Five Celtics and four Raptors players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Celtics have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Defending champion Raptors still keep top position with ten games lost.
