There was a minor upset when 11th ranked BBC Bayreuth (4-8) lost at home to fourteenth ranked BG Goettingen (4-8) 90-75 on Thursday. BG Goettingen looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American players dominated also this game. Point guard Kyan Anderson (180-92, college: TCU, agency: Two Points) nailed 24 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and swingman Alex Ruoff (198-86, college: WVU, agency: Inception Sports) accounted for 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Nate Linhart (201-86, college: Akron) came up with 16 points and 5 rebounds and guard Bryce Alford (190-94, college: UCLA) added 18 points respectively for BBC Bayreuth in the defeat. Four BBC Bayreuth players scored in double figures. BG Goettingen moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Bayreuth. BBC Bayreuth lost third consecutive game. BG Goettingen will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
