Regular Season Round 25: Kawasaki BT - Shiga L-Stars 90-89

Fourth-ranked Shiga L-Stars (10-15) made lots of trouble for first ranked Toshiba Thunders (22-3) in Kanagawa on Saturday. Toshiba Thunders managed to secure only one-point victory 90-89. However their fans expected easier game. Toshiba Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. International power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) fired a double-double by scoring 31 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American power forward Jordan Heath (208-91, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Toshiba Thunders' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American swingman Henry Walker (198-87, college: Kansas St.) produced 28 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and the other American import Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St., agency: SDJ Sports) added 18 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Shiga L-Stars players scored in double figures. Toshiba Thunders have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-3 record. Shiga L-Stars at the other side keep the fourth position with 15 games lost. Toshiba Thunders are again looking forward to face Shiga L-Stars (#4) at home in the next round. Shiga L-Stars will have a break next round.
