Regular Season Round 17: Schwenningen - Tuebingen 72-65

An interesting game took place in Schwenningen where higher ranked Walter Tigers (8-8) were upset on the court of thirteenth ranked BV Villingen-Schwenningen (5-11) 72-65. BV Villingen-Schwenningen made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game, while Walter Tigers only scored three points from the stripe. American forward Rasheed Moore (196-95, college: E.Stroudsburg) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Croatian power forward Marko Bacak (210-95) contributed with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Kris Davis (188-93, college: SIUE, agency: Promo Sport ID) answered with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and center Enosch Wolf (215-90, college: UConn, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Walter Tigers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted BV Villingen-Schwenningen maintains thirteenth place with 5-11 record, which they share with Karlsruhe PS. Walter Tigers at the other side dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. BV Villingen-Schwenningen's next round opponent will be higher ranked Rostock (#12) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
