Regular Season Round 14: Oroszlany - Kormend 71-72

Tenth-ranked Oroszlany (6-8) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Kormend (11-3) in Oraszlany on Saturday. The visitors from Kormend managed to secure only one-point victory 72-71. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Oroszlany. American point guard Frank Turner (178-88, college: Canisius, agency: Inception Sports) saved the victory by scoring 30 points. The other American import forward Travis Taylor (203-90, college: Xavier) contributed with 9 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Serbian power forward Milivoje Bozovic (210-85) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and American point guard Eric Washington (182-93, college: Miami, OH) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Oroszlany. Oroszlany's coach Sebastjan Krasovec rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kormend have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-3 record having just two points less than leader Falco-Vulcano. Newly promoted Oroszlany keeps the tenth place with eight games lost. Kormend are looking forward to face Sopron KC (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Oroszlany will play against DEAC in Debrecen and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
