Regular Season Round 27: Tokyo HT - Shizuoka 70-80

There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Shizuoka (11-14) beat on the road 7th ranked Tokyo HT (13-15) 80-70. Shizuoka made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Inception Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 22 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Roschon Prince (198-94, college: Detroit Mercy) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Four Shizuoka players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Shaquille Morris (203-94, college: Wichita St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and Burkinabe center Niyokwizera Yves (200-93) added 12 points and 19 rebounds respectively. Newly promoted Shizuoka maintains ninth place with 11-14 record. Tokyo HT at the other side keeps the seventh position with 15 games lost. Shizuoka will have a break next round.
