Regular Season Round 12: Sibiu - Oradea 63-85

The game between Top Four teams took place in Sibiu. One of their biggest challengers host Sibiu (7-5) was smashed by second ranked Oradea (10-2) 85-63. The game without a history. Oradea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by American guard Aaron Broussard (196-90, college: Seattle) who scored that evening 13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Serbian power forward Dragan Zekovic (209-87, agency: 011 Sports) supported him with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Oradea players scored in double figures. Oradea's coach Cristian Achim felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 18 points and 5 rebounds by American power forward Chris Cooper (205-90, college: ODU) did not help to save the game for Sibiu. His fellow American import power forward Randal Falker (201-85, college: SIU) added 10 points and 8 rebounds. Defending champion maintains second position in Nationala with 10-2 record behind leader Cluj Napoca. Sibiu at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Oradea will play against Timisoara (#4) at home in the next round. Sibiu will play against Pitesti and hopes to get back on the winning track.
