Regular Season Round 18: Vitre - Bordeaux 108-115

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Vitre (8-10) was defeated at home by ninth ranked JSA Bordeaux (7-11) 115-108 on Saturday. JSA Bordeaux looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Sebastien Cape (184-93) who scored 34 points (!!!) and 5 assists. Guard Quentin Hanck (192-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Robert Turner (188-93, college: Texas Tech) who recorded 26 points and 5 rebounds and forward Guillaume Merie (198-83) added 24 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. JSA Bordeaux maintains ninth position in Group A with 7-11 record. Vitre lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with ten games lost. JSA Bordeaux will face Lorient (#10) at home in the next round.
