An interesting game was also surprising road defeat of 4th ranked Vysocina (#4) in a game versus Ostrava (#8) 76-67. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vysocina. They outrebounded Vysocina 43-31 including 28 on the defensive glass. Ostrava looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Matous Kurecka (192-0) notched 20 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and swingman Adam Robenek (199-0) supported him with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Ostrava's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists by Martin Novak (199-93) did not help to save the game for Vysocina. Forward Ondrej Manak (198-86) added 14 points for the guests. Ostrava (6-8) moved-up to seventh place in East, which they share with Komf. Brno. Vysocina at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Pardubice. Ostrava will meet Opava 2010 (#10) on the road in the next round. Vysocina will play against Pardubice (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
