American forward Markis McDuffie (203-97, college: Wichita St.) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Serbian Luka Markovic (196-93, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Alba's coach Jesus Ramirez allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American-Slovakian guard Andre Jones (195-90, college: Winthrop, agency: HMS) responded with 25 points and American guard T.J. Price (193-93, college: WKU) scored 15 points and 5 assists. Four Alba and five Szolnok players scored in double figures. Alba maintains fifth position with 8-6 record, which they share with DEAC. Szolnok at the other side dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. Alba will play against higher ranked Atomeromu (#3) in Paks in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Szolnok will play on the road against JP-Auto JKSE in Jaszberenyi and hopes to get back on the winning track.
