Top ranked Bucks (32-6) recorded its sixth loss in San Antonio on Monday night. Visitors were rolled over by fourth ranked Spurs (15-20) 126-104. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Bucks. Spurs made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Bucks 54-38 including a 44-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Spurs shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 54.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman DeMar DeRozan (201-89, college: USC) who scored 25 points and 7 assists. Swingman Rudy Gay (203-86, college: UConn) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Greek-Nigerian swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo (211-94, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Khris Middleton (203-91, college: Texas A&M) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Spurs moved-up to third place. Bucks at the other side still keep top position with six games lost.
