A very close game took place in Taiyuan between Brave Dragons and Golden Bulls. Eleventh ranked Brave Dragons (15-11) got a very close home victory over higher ranked Golden Bulls (16-10). Brave Dragons managed to escape with a 3-point win 93-90 on Tuesday evening. Brave Dragons made 34-of-45 free shots (75.6 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Brave Dragons made 8 blocks. American Jamaal Franklin (196-91, college: San Diego St., agency: Slash Sports) nailed a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and the former international forward Junwei Ren (203-90) accounted for 27 points and 8 rebounds. American-Austrian swingman Sylven Landesberg (198-90, college: Virginia, agency: BeoBasket) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Marcus Denmon (191-90, college: Missouri, agency: BeoBasket) added 17 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) respectively for Golden Bulls in the defeat.
