We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when sixth ranked Zabiny Brno (7-7) smashed on the road 5th ranked Chomutov (6-7) 80-58. Swingman Michaela Vondrackova (175-91) nailed 22 points and 4 steals for the winning side and the former international swingman Petra Zaplatova (175-91) accounted for 13 points. Forward Tereza Vorlova (186-86) came up with 14 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Monika Satoranska (188-93) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Chomutov in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zabiny Brno moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Chomutov dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. Zabiny Brno will play against Loko Trutnov (#7) at home in the next round. Chomutov will play against the league's leader USK Praha and hopes to get back on the winning track.
