Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Timberwolves (2-16) were outscored on the road by eighth ranked UBSC Graz (4-13) 81-62 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by UBSC Graz. Timberwolves was better in third quarter 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. UBSC Graz looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for American guard Anton Beard (183-96, college: Arkansas) who led his team to a victory with 24 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals. The other American import guard Jacob Ledoux (190-97, college: Texas-PB) contributed with 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Beard is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five UBSC Graz players scored in double figures. Point guard Jakob Szkutta (188-99) replied with 16 points and 7 assists and Bosnian forward Nemanja Nikolic (202-89) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Timberwolves. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UBSC Graz maintains eighth position with 4-13 record. Timberwolves at the other side stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost.
