Regular Season Round 19: Kaysersberg - Saint Vallier 77-79

Twelfth-ranked Kaysersberg (3-16) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Saint Vallier (15-4) on Saturday. The visitors from Saint Vallier managed to secure only two-point victory 79-77. However their fans expected much easier game. Saint Vallier looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Demond Watt (200-89, college: Texas A&M-CC) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Naturalized Mali guard Ludovic Chelle (188-83) contributed with 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. Naturalized Congolese swingman Ted Lissossi (190-90) answered with 15 points and 4 assists and guard Rosaire Malonga (188-95) added 10 points and 6 assists in the effort for Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg's coach Fabien Drago rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Saint Vallier maintains second place in Group B with 15-4 record having just one point less than leader Angers. Kaysersberg at the other side dropped to the thirteenth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Feurs EF. Saint Vallier are looking forward to face Mulhouse (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kaysersberg will play against the league's leader C'Chartres and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
