Top ranked Cluj Napoca (11-2) recorded its second loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by seventh ranked Craiova (5-8) 94-88. They made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Strangely Cluj Napoca outrebounded Craiova 40-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Craiova players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import guard Porter Troupe (196-83, college: Portland, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Lithuanian forward Donatas Tarolis (203-94) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and Croatian center Darko Planinic (211-90, agency: Octagon Europe) added 19 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for Cluj Napoca. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Craiova moved-up to sixth place in Nationala. Cluj Napoca at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. Craiova will play against league's leader Oradea at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cluj Napoca will play against Steaua B. in Bucuresti and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
