No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Galatasaray (12-4) crushed 9th ranked Turk Telekom (7-9) in Istanbul 93-71 on Saturday. Galatasaray shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Turk Telekom's players. It was a very good performance for American Aaron Harrison (198-94, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording 17 points. Point guard Can Korkmaz (187-92, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. French center Moustapha Fall (218-92) replied with 10 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Nick Johnson (191-92, college: Arizona) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Turk Telekom. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Galatasaray have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 12-4 record. Loser Turk Telekom dropped to the eighth place with nine games lost. Galatasaray's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Istanbul to the arena Acibadem.
