Everything went according to plan in San Fernando where first ranked ULB OH!TELS (10-2) won against 9th ranked Matenglish (1-11) 78-61 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Danish swingman Alexander Bak (193-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who scored 18 points. Center Candido Matoso (207-92) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was DR Congolese forward Steve Kuminga (198-96, college: Cent.Christian) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and forward Jesus Moral (190-92) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. ULB OH!TELS maintains first place in Group D-B with 10-2 record. Matenglish lost their eleventh game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 11 games lost. ULB OH!TELS will face Torta del Casar (#5) in Caceres in the next round. Matenglish's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from San Fernando Matenglish.
