Very important is a road loss of second ranked Bnei Hasharon (9-4) against eighth ranked Kiryat Motzkin (7-6) on Tuesday night. Visiting Bnei Hasharon was crushed by Kiryat Motzkin in Kiryat Motzkin 98-77. Kiryat Motzkin outrebounded Bnei Hasharon 48-28 including 35 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists. American-British center Laurence Ekperigin (200-88, college: LeMoyne) nailed a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and American power forward Amin Stevens (203-90, college: FAMU, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 29 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Isaiah Eisendorf (198-96, college: LeMoyne) came up with 16 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import point guard Kendall Anthony (173-93, college: Richmond) added 16 points and 8 assists respectively for Bnei Hasharon in the defeat. Four Kiryat Motzkin and five Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. Bnei Hasharon's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kiryat Motzkin moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Yavne. Bnei Hasharon at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with H.Haifa. Kiryat Motzkin will play against Hasharon (#8) in Hod Hasharon in the next round. Bnei Hasharon will play on the road against H.Galilee (#4) in Kazrin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
