Regular Season Round 13: Ramat Hash. - H.Ramat Gan 79-99

Rather expected game in Ramat Hasharon where 14th ranked Hasharon (2-11) was crushed by eleventh ranked H.Ramat Gan (5-8) 99-79. H.Ramat Gan players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Kevin Capers (188-93, college: Florida Southern) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Nigerian-American forward TK Edogi (203-94, college: Iona) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Polish guard Gal Gilinski (195-95) answered with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and American guard Dorian Pinson (196-96, college: Lincoln Memorial) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Hasharon. Four H.Ramat Gan and five Hasharon players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. H.Ramat Gan moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Raanana. Hasharon lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. H.Ramat Gan's next round opponent will be league's leader Afula on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hasharon will play against Elitzur Yavne (#7) and hope to win that game.
