No shocking result in a game when second ranked Osaka E. (19-9) beat 5th ranked Diamond Dolphins (11-18) in Nagoya 92-77 on Wednesday. Osaka E. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. American-North Macedonian center Richard Hendrix (203-86, college: Alabama) contributed with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Osaka E. players scored in double figures. American forward Justin Burrell (207-88, college: St.John's) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import center Hilton Armstrong (210-84, college: UConn) added 3 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Diamond Dolphins. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Osaka E.. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Ryukyu GK. Diamond Dolphins lost their ninth game in a row. They dropped to the third place with 18 games lost. Osaka E. will face Shiga L-Stars (#4) at home in the next round. Diamond Dolphins will play against Shimane Magic and hope to win that game.
