No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Usti n/Labem (11-8) beat 10th ranked BK Kolin (3-16) in Usti nad Labem 86-79 on Wednesday. Usti n/Labem made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Strangely BK Kolin outrebounded Usti n/Labem 46-32 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a very good performance for the former international center Pavel Houska (203-84, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Spencer Svejcar (193-94, college: Alaska-Anch.) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Usti n/Labem's coach Antonin Pistecky allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American Anthony Durham (190-96, college: Rider) answered with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian point guard Luka Igrutinovic (193-92, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 18 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for BK Kolin. Usti n/Labem moved-up to fifth place. Loser BK Kolin dropped to the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Usti n/Labem will face BK Decin (#8) on the road in the next round. BK Kolin will play against USK Praha and hope to win that game.
