Regular Season Round 7: Mono Vampire - WM Dragons 94-91

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Thailand Mono Vampire as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Mono Vampire edged 5th ranked Malaysian WM Dragons in Bangkok 94-91. Mono Vampire made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Preston Knowles (187-89, college: Louisville) helped adding 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 19 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks and swingman Cade Davis (197-88, college: Oklahoma) scored 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. WM Dragons at the other side keep the fifth place with three games lost. WM Dragons will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Mono Vampire will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Fubon Braves on the road.
