Regular Season Round 86: Toronto R. - Washington W. 140-111

Date: January 17, 2020
Rather predictable result in Toronto where second ranked Raptors (27-14) smashed 4th ranked Wizards (13-28) 140-111 on Friday. Raptors forced 26 Wizards turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 22 long-distance shots on high 51.2 percentage. Raptors looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Wizards' players. Guard Norman Powell (193-93, college: UCLA) scored 28 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Terence Davis (193-97, college: Ole Miss, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Swingman Troy Brown-Jr (201-99, college: Oregon, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and German swingman Isaac Bonga (204-99) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains second position with 27-14 record having just one point less than leader Milwaukee B., which they share with Utah Jazz. Wizards lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 28 games lost. Raptors will face Timberwolves (#5) in Minnesota in the next day.
