We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when ninth ranked Kondori Lib. (4-12) outscored on the road 8th ranked Loko Plzen (4-12) 83-58 on Friday. They outrebounded Loko Plzen 57-44 including 19 on the offensive glass. Swingman David Zikla (203-98) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American forward Maurice Taylor (198-94, college: Niagara) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Taylor is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Kondori Lib. players scored in double figures. Forward Jaroslav Lejsek (198-90) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Jan Madera (196-99) added 15 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kondori Lib. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place in West, which they share with defeated Loko Plzen. Loko Plzen lost seventh consecutive game. Kondori Lib. will face higher ranked Slavoj Litom. (#5) in Litomerice in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
